Will the SurfacePad for the iPad Pro 12.9-inch work with both the 1st and 2nd gen?

Yes - the new iPad Pro 12.9-inch SurfacePad will work with both your 1st and 2nd generation iPad. Although it is designed for the 2nd gen (you will notice the small microphone cut out in the center back) it will fit both generations perfectly. To note: when you are applying it to the 1st gen, be careful of the small microphone hole to the right of the camera. You will need to position your SurfacePad so that it doesn't cover this, otherwise you may hinder the usage.

Does SurfacePad wake/sleep iPad when opened and closed?

Yes, SurfacePad for iPad incorporates magnets to turn iPad on and off when opened and closed.

At what angles does SurfacePad put my iPad when in display mode?

SurfacePad includes two convenient built-in display angles, which position iPad at either 70 degrees or 60 degrees.

Will the SurfacePad for iPad leave any sticky residue when removed?

    The size is just a smidge off but…

    The size is just a smidge off but it does the trick to provide some protection to my mini — Sadly, the old keyboard cover I used to use before it broke again is no longer available.

    Does not fit the mini 5 very well

    Has pretty big gaps all around the edges, so it looks like its of. by a couple of mm's. Its a good concept, just dont like how it doesn't completely cover edge to edge
