What is the benefit to keeping my iPhone in a BookBook?

Can I access the controls and charge/sync my iPhone inside BookBook?

Yes. You can access all controls on your phone while it’s in BookBook and you can charge/sync your iPhone with the wallet open or closed. Unlike bumper style cases, there are no frames to get in your way.

Will BookBook for iPhone 4 fit earlier generations of iPhone or an iPod Touch?

BookBook for iPhone is designed exclusively for iPhone 4 and 4S and therefore will not fit the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch.

How many cards and how much cash can BookBook for iPhone hold?

BookBook for iPhone can comfortably hold three to four cards, along with a couple folded bills of cash, receipts or business cards inside the vertical pocket.

I don’t see a hole for the camera. Do I have to remove iPhone when I take pictures or videos?

No. Simply pull the quick tab and slide your iPhone up 1/2 inch to expose the lens, then snap a quick picture or video.

Will the iPhone demagnetize my credit cards?

No. The BookBook for iPhone does not contain any magnets whatsoever. The iPhone does not create or use magnetic material of any appreciable size either. If it did, it would interfere with the iPhone’s own internal Compass. Apple even warns against using any case with magnets. Finally the notion that a cell phone could ever erase the magnetic strip on a credit card may be more myth than reality. Extensive internal testing has reaffirmed, credit cards will not be erased by being held in close proximity to your iPhone in a BookBook for iPhone.

The cover of my BookBook for iPhone won't lay flat, is this normal?

Just like a pair of leather shoes, the cover of your BookBook for iPhone will "break in" over time to lay flat. One way to expedite this process is to lay your BookBook front cover down whenever you place your BookBook on a table or flat surface.
