Why would I want to elevate my Mac to sit higher on my desk?

Is it really true that HiRise will perfectly align an iMac with a Thunderbolt Display?
It’s not a rumor. It’s 100% true. Set the metal support shelf to the second slot from the bottom and the bottom edge of screen on your iMac will be in line with the screen on your Thunderbolt Display.
Is HiRise compatible with all Macs?
HiRise is compatible with all iMacs, Apple Thunderbolt Displays and Apple Cinema Displays with metal L-shaped desk stand (except the 30-inch Cinema Display)
What is this secret storage compartment on HiRise?
Remove the front or rear faceplate on HiRise and you will find a perfect little storage space for stuff like a Mac mini, portable hard drive or your wallet and keys. The faceplates are held in place with magnets, or you can use the included screws for more permanent storage. Faceplates are perforated to give devices stored inside adequate circulation.
Is it safe to use HiRise with my 27-inch iMac?
Totally. HiRise is over-engineered and constructed with metal to handle the weight of the largest iMac.
Can I use my Twelve South BackPack with HiRise?
Absolutely. HiRise will not interfere with BackPack when it’s used on the back of your Mac stand. In fact, there will still be room for two BackPacks on one Mac.
